Despite other commentators  on the Morning Joe show, who attempted to elevate the Sony-North Korea incident into a global crisis that Sony somehow should have fought toe-to-toe against North Korea, Morning Joe correspondent Donny Deutsch stayed tough and kept the focus on the true state of affairs, This is about cost-benefit/risk assessment analysis.

He  defended Sony, stated they made the right business decision in canceling the film. "The Interview."

“This is capitalism,” he said, “not the State Department.”

“At the end of the day it’s not a matter of moral imperative, it’s a matter of a business judgment,” he continued. “It’s a matter of protect consumers, protecting my business franchise. They had no choice."
